A Six-Goal Thriller – Cameroon 3-3 Serbia
Cameroon and Serbia played each other in a wonderful game of football. This could be the game of the tournament. Both teams needed a win to keep up their hopes as they have lost their first match but there was nothing to split between the two sides. The final score was 3-3.
Serbia shines in the middle of the game
After losing their first match against Brazil, Serbia was incredibly good today. They fired two goals in the first half after conceding one. A brilliant freekick from Tadic found Pavlovic who head it past the goalkeeper. After just two minutes they scored again. This time Milinkovic-Savic whips the ball in the bottom corner. They did well to win the first round of the game. Serbia also started the 2nd half with the intention to score another. And they did score in the 53rd minute when Zivkovic and Mitrovic combined to score an easy goal but the creation of this goal was beautiful. After extending their lead they wanted to defend the game till the last whistle but Cameroon didn’t let them take a breath. They scored twice and leveled the score.
Cameroon did really well in the second half but in the first half, they scored a goal and then conceded two goals at half-time injury time. Castelletto finished from close range. He did well to get to the position from where it was an easy finish. This goal gave Cameroon the lead they needed. But they lost the lead before halftime. The halftime score was 1-2. Serbia replied with two goals. In the early moments of 2nd period, Serbia scored again to extend their lead.
But the Cameroon hero Vincent Aboubakar did well to win a point for his team and keep their hopes alive. In the 63rd minute, he scored a goal, a brilliant finish he found the space and run for the goal everybody thought he was offside so they let him even he looked for the flag but chipped the keeper when he saw the flag stayed down. After the VAR review, the goal was awarded. Three minutes later he made another run and set up the equalizer for captain Chupo-Moting. The Bayern Munich striker Chupo-Moting tapped in the ball. After that they kept their defense firm and the game tied.

Vincent Aboubakar was the man who should win man of the match. His presence of mind was amazing and so is his first finish. The substitute deserves the award after an exceptional performance.
As both teams have tied, now they have to win their last matches to qualify for the round of 16. Cameroon will face Brazil and Serbia will face Switzerland.
