Match Breakdown

Australia has done really well in this match against Denmark. Some good saves from Ryan and a wonderful performance from the goal scorer. Australia attempted a total of 8 shots out of which 4 were on target. After an hour from the first whistle, they found the net. Mathew Leckie scored a wonderful solo goal. He basically destroyed Maehle before scoring from between his legs.

Denmark played a good game of football in the first half. In the second half, they were poor. They attempted 13 shots of which only 3 were on target. In the 71st minute they did wanted a penalty but Dolberg was offside. So their dream break here.

Man of the match

The goalscorer Mathew Leckie is the man of the match as it was his fantastic goal that end up behind the goalline. And it was he who qualified his team for the next stage. Best of luck to him and his team for the future.

Tunisia shocks France in the second game but was not enough as Australia won their game. Let’s see how well Australia performs in the next stage. It will be difficult but not impossible to reach the next stages. Denmark doesn’t manage to get a single win in this tournament, which looks disappointing for a team who reached the semi-finals of EURO 2020.
